Types and Characteristics of Garment Printed Labels

Printed labels are generally made from two types of materials: satin and coated fabric. Satin is relatively more expensive, while coated fabric is cheaper. Care labels are usually made from satin or non-woven fabric materials. The difference is that satin should ideally be folded, as it tends to fray after being cut. Non-woven fabric printed care labels, however, do not need to be folded and have a more natural appearance when cut.

1. Since printed labels use printing technology, they feature rich, vibrant, and clear colors, making the product more fashionable.

2. High production efficiency. Woven labels, due to their weaving process, have lower production rates compared to printed labels, but they are more durable when washed, do not fade easily, and give the product a more high-end look.
