Heat Transfer Garment Label

Product and Material Selection

Throughout history, heat transfer labels have played a crucial role in marking and personalizing garments. Today, LIJIE Factory in China offers a variety of high-quality heat transfer labels, including:

- Heat Transfer Fabric Labels: Made from OEKO-TEX® certified polyester yarn, ensuring exceptional durability.

- DTF (Direct-to-Film) Heat Transfer Neck Labels: Printed with water-based ink for a seamless, borderless design.

- Name Labels: Crafted from polyurethane (PU), offering excellent flexibility.

Production Process

The production process varies based on the type of heat transfer label:

1. Heat Transfer Fabric Labels

- Yarn Selection & Weaving: Uses OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified polyester yarn with satin weaving techniques, ensuring precise yarn movement to create the desired pattern.

- Adhesive Layer Application: A specialized machine applies an adhesive layer to the back of the label, making it easy to heat press onto fabric. A protective film covers the adhesive layer before use.

- Cutting: After the adhesive application, cutting machines trim the fabric into labels of the required size based on customer designs.

2. DTF Neck Labels

- Printing: A CMYK color printer prints the neck label design onto a base film, followed by an opaque white ink layer to prevent fabric color from showing through.

- Adhesive Application: The printed film passes through a fine-grain coating process, allowing dry textile particles to adhere to the liquid ink, while excess residue is removed.

- Drying: The printed film is dried and cured using a heat machine or infrared oven, creating a smooth, rubber-like surface.

- Cutting: After printing, cutting machines shape the neck labels according to custom designs, ensuring easy transfer onto garments.

3. Heat Transfer PU Name Labels

- Preparation & Printing: Name labels come pre-coated with an adhesive layer, ready for thermal printing.

- Printing: A thermal printing process ensures fast and efficient customization.
